Emmanuel doit à son premier métier de paysagiste-concepteur cette attention portée au monde vivant des bestioles, des plantes, des branches et des lichens. Le métal retranscrit tout en délicatesse mais de façon solide, la fragilité de la nature observée.
Emmanuel est un glaneur de métal. Les morceaux collectés rassemblent en une œuvre : des temps, des lieux et des histoires mémorisés.
S’opposent le vivant des objets représentés à l’inertie du matériau, la fragilité et la finitude de ces êtres à la solidité du métal. Dans cette alchimie créative se pose en permanence la question du cycle et de la transformation de la matière.
Emmanuel owes this attention to the living world of bugs, plants, branches, and lichens to his first job as a landscape designer. The metal transcribes all in delicacy but in a solid way, the fragility of nature observed.
Emmanuel is a metal gleaner. The collected pieces bring together in one work: times, places, and memorized stories.
The living objects represented are opposed to the inertia of the material, the fragility and finitude of these beings to the solidity of the metal. In this creative alchemy, the question of the cycle and the transformation of matter constantly arises.
